Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of India's West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it was India's capital under the British Raj from 1773–1911. Today it’s known for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries and cultural festivals. It’s also home to Mother House, headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa, whose tomb is on site.

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT KOLKATA
Welcome on arrival at Kolkata pickup Howrah railway station and Transfer to Hotel, after lunch half day city tourKalighat, Parshwanath Jain Temple, Dakshineswar temple, Belur Math Etc.Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: KOLKATA FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING AT KOLKATA
Morning at 9.30 AM starts the full day city tour, drive by the old heritage building of BBD
Bagh and visit the bank of the river Ganga to understand the significance of the mighty river
in our life. Also visit the famous Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial (museum closed on Monday and National Holidays), Indian Museum, Mother House, Marble Palace, Eden Garden, Shaheed Minar, Kumartuli, St Paul Cathedraland etc. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning checkout free for Shopping & drop at Howrah Station to board for NJP.
